Hotel Information

Ontario International Airport (ONT) is the closest and most convenient airport, located 16 miles from the show site. If you are arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or John Wayne/Santa Ana Airport (SNA) please be aware there is significant traffic especially during rush hour. LAX is 69  miles and  John Wayne/Santa Ana Airport (SNA) is 45 miles from the Riverside Convention Center.

A block of rooms is being held at the Marriott Riverside until August 24, 2010. When making your reservations, ask for the “Dachshund Club of America” rate. The room rates are $118.00 for a single or double; $128.00 for a triple: and $138.00 for a quad. There are a very limited number of suites available – call hotel direct for availability. A porterage fee of $5.00 per person, round trip is applicable. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $50.00 will be charged upon arrival, and a refundable $200.00 damage deposit will be required for all rooms and suites with dogs. Check-in is 3:00 pm, check-out is 12:00 pm.

The Marriott has graciously waived their “no dog” policy for Dachshund Club of America exhibitors. Please take note of the following and comply so that we do not jeopardize our ability to return to this hotel with our dogs. There is a maximum of 4 dogs allowed per room and dogs must remain in crates while in guestrooms. No bathing or grooming of dogs is permitted in guestrooms. A designated area at the Riverside Convention Center will be available for bathing and grooming animals. Dogs are to be exercised in designated exercise areas only. Pet caretakers will be responsible for the clean up and disposal of all pet waste. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant and must be on a leash at all times inside the hotel. 

The hotel will provide complimentary shuttle transportation, to and from, Ontario International Airport (ONT) – 72 hour advanced reservation is required. Please contact the hotel directly at (951) 784-8000 to make transportation reservations. At the time of the reservation, the hotel requires guests to provide the total number of transports (example: 1 person & 2 dog crates). You will experience shuttle transportation delays should the hotel not receive this information accurately.

A block of rooms is being held at the Comfort Inn until September 20, 2010. When making your reservations, ask for the “Dachshund Club of America” rate. Room rates are $79.00 for single or double occupancy (one or two beds); $94.00 for triple occupancy; and $99.00 for 4 people. Each guest room will be charged a $25.00 non-refundable, one time pet cleaning fee at check-in. Pet caretakers will be responsible for the clean up and disposal of all pet waste and for damages caused to the property including excess noise.

The Comfort Inn offers a complimentary deluxe hot breakfast buffet served daily, spacious parking, free WiFi, free local calls, voicemail, coffee makers, irons, hair dryers & 30 + channels w/HBO. The Comfort Inn is located less than 2 miles from the Riverside Convention Center.

RV Parking

RV parking is conveniently located on the north side of the Convention Center. RV parking must be reserved for the entire week at a cost of $310.00 and paid for in advance. Spaces are approximately 20’x 45’. Each space has 30 amp power provided from 6AM until 10PM. Additional water will be available and holding tank dumping will be provided for an additional fee.

20 RV spaces are available. RVs may arrive Monday, Sept. 27th from 10AM – 8PM and remain until Sunday, Oct.3rd, 12 Noon.
